Error Code : 0xc0000225 (Lenovo G580)
For Lenovo G580 with window 8, when trying to partition an error occurs :
Solution 1 (suggested by Lenovo Technical Suppot Team)
You can use the One Key Recovery Feature on your notebook to set it back
to factory settings.

1. Turn off your computer
2. Press the novo/okr button which can be found near the power button
and should look like an inverted arrow
and should look like an inverted arrow
3. Choose One Key Recovery, then choose Restore from initial back up.
4. Wait for the recovery to finish and set up your computer again for initial use.
Not Working for me...
1. After Recovery Window (Screen 1) Press Esc for UEFI Firmware Settings...
Security> Secure Boot> select Secure Boot [Disable],
Then go to Startup> and select UEFI/Legacy Boot [Both],
Exit Saving Changes.
3. Press F12 and select boot from DVD (Win8 Installation or Recovery DVD)

2. From Setup Window go to

5. Press Shift + F10 when you are at the Install Windows screen (Screen 2),
The
elevated command prompt at boot will now open.
6. Type DISKPART command
7. Enter Command LIST VOLUME, note volume number# ...
8. Enter Command SELECT VOLUME 2 (eg0,1,2) mine was 2
9. Enter Command ASSIGN LETTER=Z
10. EXIT
11. Enter Command BCDBoot c:\Windows /s z: /f UEFI

12. Exit and
restart your computer and be
happy
Note: If you select Volume 1 at Step
8, you will get
Error as "Failure when attempting to copy boot files"
